    Alternator Regulator?

Hope someone can shed some light. My car is a 2200tc with a rebuilt starter motor, acr18 alternator, new battery, fan belt and new earth cables. With the battery fully charged we have a reading of 12.8 volts. As expected the red ignition light comes on when you turn the key and goes out as...

Oil filter- just want to buy the right one!

Gents, hope someone can help. In the past I have always needed loads of bits so ordered my stuff from the well known p6 suppliers. I always ordered an oil filter for my 1976 2200tc MAN, and not surprisingly, as these people know what they are talking about, the oil filter always actually fitted...

    Annoying leak

Although I am reluctant to admit it, this is the exact aggressive method I was contemplating myself H, however I was rather hoping with all your experience/expertise you would be able to magic up from nowhere a more delicate solution than mine! However that said, none of your previous...

    Annoying leak

Noticed a bit off a damp patch on front and left rear floorpan, removed all carpet to get to the bottom of the issue and realised water coming in from left front and rear door aperture (not a lot but anything matters) seals appear more than reasonable however comparing left doors to right...

Recommendation for a supplier of an exhaust for a P6 2200 SC Auto

JP Exhausts Macclesfield, custom made me one for my 22tc in stainless (2 box system) sounds absolutely top draw. Never rots and they give you a guarantee for as long as you own the car, cost me about £400 a few years ago still perfect, what more do you want?

Just been looking at car which is almost as good as this picture, I NOW see they are handed, as well at the linkage difference, with hindsight should have seen this straight away, but thanks for your help as regards the detailed photo. As they say a picture is as good as a thousand words!

    AUD 632R and AUD 632F

Carbs for the 2200 tc, does anyone know if there are actual differences between the two carbs are (ie physical, and what are they) or are they both identical the r/f just referring to the position? Also does anyone know where the identifying numbers are located and do they include the R or F...

S2 rear heated screen switch( ie the round pull switch)

Couldn't help myself, mole grips activated, bulb black and out, bulb casing still intact phew!!! I have not touched this before so someone pre 1992 must have got carried away and thought they were torqueing down a cylinder head when they were actually just replacing a bulb

S2 rear heated screen switch( ie the round pull switch)

This has stopped lighting up and hence working. Power to it so fuse ok. How do I get access to the bulb I have tried unscrewing it buts its not happening, I have posted here to avoid breaking it! How should it actually come apart?

    Seat belt dilemma

Cheers for the Quickfit tip gents, been on to them and they can either supply a modern inertia reel seatbelt for about £60 OR recondition my original belt for slightly less. The big bonus is if I send them my old belt in either case they can fit the existing tongue (the bit you plug in) so I CAN...
