    V8 distributor needed!

I Believe i'm right in saying that you will have to change the entire timing cover if fitting SD1 dizzy as oil pump drive is different. The two wires will go straight to the coil but then you will need to upgrade the coil itself and also remove any ballast on the primary circuit if present. Go...

Replacing front discs - Special tools?

Don't forget to make sure hub is perfectly clean before assembly to disc...also do not use grease, needs to be metal to metal. After this offer the disc to the hub, you can usually tell where the best position for the disc lies if u turn it around as mentioned before. Then torque bolts down then...

    Facet fuel pump

I have seen sense and now have decided to keep the car, which brings me on to the idea of fitting a Facet fuel pump as so many of you have. I want to locate the pump at the tank within the boot so that i do not have to retro fit fuel lines up front. I intend to keep everything original under the...

    New Tyres

ATS can get hold of Camac or Nankang,or alternatively you could source original spec tyres such as Dunlop etc but are in short supply and are very expensive

    New Tyres

Quite certain you need to Find 185/14 HR. I believe that the correct aspect ratio is 82.Which is standard on H rated. These are still available, they normally need to be ordered in.

    Spotted on ebay, Turbo kit

Not unusual to have a turbo fed from one bank on 'V' engines. Not sure that manifold would be ideal for P6 as it looks very SD1 to me.In any case it would not be as simple to simply bolt on.The compression of the engine would need to be low to deal with the increase of intake and combustion.

    cosmic Rodney - cosmic alloys

Would like to know whether alloy cosmic wheels were ever a factory option or just simply a period additition? If so anyone willing to shift a set for my P6B?

    Engine stand

Definatley use the bell housing threads, make sure you do not use set screws (bolts with threads all the way up to the hex) as these do not have the tensile strenth.Use the existing bell housing bolts with spacers and washers where necessary.

    Heater blower - Improvements

Are there any modifications out there to extract more power from the heater blower motor? In my view P6 blowers were always a little weak on performance and although my car is original with 8k i would have expected better performance in line with other P6B'S that i have owned with higher...
