I would stick with it, I'd give my right arm for a solid base unit, spent £700 on a 2000TC with a years ticket off ebay, turned out to be the most rotten car I've ever seen, scrapped it last year, still looking for a good solid runner, just need to get rid of my '73 mini first.

Hi everyone I was once the proud owner of a P6 2000 TC that was unfortunately very rotten, anyway to cut a long story short, I broke the car and sold the bits then gave the base away but forgot to give the new owner the log book. If it was you, and you remember collecting a car a few years ago...

reasonable rear bumper - pitted but by no means past it - polishes up quite well

Also found a good used centre silencer for 2000TC its a TIMAX item and has the number RR75C on it if this helps anyone identify it

Last couple of bits from my old Rover remaining, good 2200TC fuel tank and front panel from same car - solid Free to anyone who wants them

Almost forgot also have a boot with spare wheel mount on it too, could deliver within 10mile radius of ipswich, although it is a bit scruffy!
