Thanks! The front carb did'nt follow the rear because of wrongly adjusted linkage. Now both the pistons pulls up at the same time. rgds Petter

Thanks for the response. I have'nt started the job yet, It's still a lot of snow here, and I do'nt drive the car in the winter. Yesterday I took the car out for the first time this year, It' started as soon as the fuel came pumping. I'll be back when i've started the brake job. rgds Petter

As I suspect that my brake pipes are no good anymore, along with the discs and brakes front and rear, i'm planning to get it all changed before 17th of May. I'm buying ready-to-fit brake pipes. How complicated is it really to change the rear brakes? I work as an Audi/Volkswagen garage foreman...

I've just had the inlet manifold out, and the engines behavior has'nt changed after this operation, therefore I guess that there's no leak in the inlet manifold. But I've not checked the carburetters. Otherwise the engine runs very well, and I am actually a little impressed of the engines...

Ok, I guess I leave it as it is for the time being. There are other things to do with the car that is more important at this time. Petter

The idle, and when running on slow speed is sometimes very lumpy. This makes it difficult to adjust the ignition and it's also very uncomfortable. Could it just be carburetter adjustment. The exhaust also produces small "poff" all the time. The car is equipped with a pertronix electronic ignitior.

Does anybody know if Ican use my left side seat on the right side and opposite in my 69 2000 TC?

Is'nt it wonderful when the hints you get solves your problem? My problem with the front carb was caused by a sticking jet under my front carb. So after some adjustment i've managed to get the right mixture on both carburetters. Petter :)
