Hi can anyone show me what the mk1 grill badge fits to. Thanks
It has a clamp plate on the back that captures the two grille ends behind the badge. Sort allows for fine tuning for balance.Hi can anyone show me what the mk1 grill badge fits to. Thanks
To complicate things, there are two Series 1 badges, the metal rimmed version and the all plastic. The metal rim version used two bar clamps with thumbscrews, the all plastic version used a mount that also spaced the grills apart that two knurled studs on the badge pressed into.

V8Also depends what car he has.. It doesn't say whether it's a 4-pot or a V8.
The service newsletters say the plastic badge was introduced in April of 1968 on the Automatic cars, and then standardized to the SC & TC in November 68. So I suspect your car had the badge replaced at some point, though you are right it would seem you could have a Automatic with the plastic badge and the vertical flow rad. The cross flow rad was introduced in August 68.My April 1967 2000 had the plastic badge and a vertical-flow radiator, so plastic and crossflow don't necessarily go together.
