Noticed white smoke from exhaust on start up, went to pull out of garage and brake pedal went to the floor. Reservoir empty, would this be a problem with the servo or the cylinder attached to it?
There's a leak from the servo cylinder into the vacuum chamber and the fluid level in the chamber is so high that it's being sucked through the engine.
PS This time of the year you'll get white smoke from the exhaust in start up anyway, but to prove the point remove the servo hose from the servo and carefully put a thin screwdriver down in there as a dipstick, it should come out covered in fluid if it's a servo failure. Don't puncture the diaphragm doing it though.
