Welding inner sills - Inner sill repairs

I wonder if anyone can help. The bottom of nearside inner sill on my P6 ('76 2200TC) has a 2 inch round hole in it about 6 inches behind the front wheel arch, then rust/ flakes of underseal along the seam from here to the d post indiciating more of the same. Presumably this is too far gone to patch and a new inner sill is required? Does anyone out there know:
a. what it is likely to cost to have this work done; and
b. if there is someone good in the West Yorkshire area who could tackle the job?

Best man for the job in West Yorks will be Dan at Prior Vehicle Engineers, based near Nostle Priory, Tel. 01977 618411 I would personally recommend him, as I have spent many an hour watching him restore P6's, Minors, and some pretty interesting yank stuff too. He'll tell you straight and is very reasonable on price. Please tell him I sent you.... :)
