Weight of rear calipers?

Morning gents.
Would anyone perchance, know the weight of the rear brake calipers? (Girling).
The reason I ask is I am contemplating having some posted to me that are in better condition than mine which are seized and need to know the weight to see if it is worth it. (Dont want to take mine off the car just yet)

For a pair of calipers,..mass 7kg, plus the packaging that they would put around them.

Got on to a guy in Adelaide with a pair...$50 plus postage, which is about $30 i think. based on 7kg
Have seal kits, but fingers crossed pistons/bores are OK. Chap says they are, but...
Started on that waterpump today. Radiator came out just as you said it would.
Only trouble is I cant get the viscous fan off. i suspect I need a pulley puller?
Correct?
 
Hello Brenten,

Once you undo the centre nyloc nut, the fan and coupling will lift away, they are not a press fit. The pulley is located by a single pin, nothing more, and again is not a press fit. The only reason I can see why you can't just pull it off is that someone previously has used loctite or a sealant of some sort when none was needed.

That saves a trip to buy a puller at least.
Will have another crack at it.
