Turning Dunlop discs

Hi All,
'67 TC2000, Dunlop brakes, all my manual says is standard thickness 0.39". Any idea what minimum thickness is?

I think l have some NOS Dunlop discs, rear at least. Possibly front. Give me a shout if needed. I'd need comparison photos to confirm they're the right ones.

Its the front discs, lets see what comes up today. I'll measure what they are now just in case they have been turned already.

All A suffix TC's had Dunlops but they were all exported and were not available in the UK (though no doubt a few escaped) hence Gordo probably has one of these.. When introduced into the UK market the TC had Girlings fitted as the changeover from Dunlops had then been rationalised.

GORDO try Winns as he has Dunlop fronts at a competive price.

Alan

Very few 67 TCs had Dunlops, it’s more likely that the car is actually a 66 and just wasn’t registered until 67. That was the situation with one of the two cars I've had with Dunlops. The other car was a 66 SC. The 67 was a TC, and sadly I got rid of it before I was really knowledgable about the P6 as in hindsight I think it was a factory TC prototype that had been tested in the US and then sold.

Yours
Vern
