i'd love to be able to afford to do the whole job in one go but i cant justify all that at the moment when there are other areas of the car whcih desperately need attention(especially after hearing stans engine which is superb by the way...).
I think for now i just need to get it running - the 3.9 cam, timing chain and new rocker gear will be a project for next summer i think.
Then i need to get the new boot floor welded in get the rear end of the base unit checked( i can see daylight from inside the boot through the wheelarch) and get the floor and sills rustproofed and get the inner sills checked, sort the speedo cable and check the steering and suspension over....
Plenty to do if it's going to pass an MOT in october...!
Just running will have to do for now sticking with the tin gaskets to minimize the workload for now....
