Rodger’s rear end

Today’s efforts replacing the rear brake pads
sorted the hand brake and refilled the dion tube,
its not to bad to change the pads if its been looked after if not its quite hard work
i tried without removing the discs, as it turned out it’s easier to remove the disk I did one side at a time
the handbrake mechanism was seized so although it took most of the day its a good feeling to have sorted the nemesis of the rear brakes

Yes - it's always great to have sorted a problem & to also understand how things work!

Your brakes should be much better now Paul, because the regular application of the (unseized) handbrake should take up any slack on the pads as they wear

Thanks
not too many jobs left
steering pump leak and the seats
I’ve had Rodger for a year now I’m hoping he will make a reliable daily driver
