Hi Keith

I'm not clear what you are asking for here. So I've listed the correct components for both door and pillar.

Doors:

Lock Mechanism front: 372359 (RH)
372360 (LH)

Lock Mechanism rear: 372361 (RH)
372362 (LH)

Dovetail both: 2 X 357912 (RH)
2 X 357913 (LH)
C/sunk screw 1/4 UNF X 5/8 12 X 78583

Anti Burst Peg both: 4 X 367582 (peg)
4 X 367583 (washer)
4 X 369699 (washer)

Pillars:

Striker Plate RH (F & R) 2 X 368546
Striker Plate LH (F & R) 2 X 368547

Striker Plate Spacer 0.50" 383444 (as required)
Striker Plate Spacer 0.80" 353493 (as required)
C/sunk Screw 1/4 UNF X 5/8 12 X 78591

Tapping Plate for Striker 4 X 364297 (inside pillar)

Anti Burst Plate 4 X 367584
Tapped Plate (Inside F Pillar) 2 X 368644
Set screws 1/4 UNF X 3/4" 8 X 78759

Ian Wilson's Rover-Classics web site has the relevant diagrams at:

Sorry I cant give the part a name or find them on ians site

the closest i can see on the diagrams is 366344(4) and presume this is same fit for all four doors maybe just longer wires to fit in place on rear

Possibly this ?
Anti Burst Plate - got this
Tapped Plate - missing
Set screws missing

The parts i am after fit below the striker on the inner rear arch
The top set are fine its the small catch with 2 screws in it thats the problem
when you remove the back seat you have a slot on the inside of rear arch which has a small plate with the 2 holes in it.

The picture shows mine in place but it was taken off and we have lost the inside threaded plate and the screws

Aha! So what you are missing is the tapped plate 368644 and the two 1/4" UNF X 3/4" screws. I can see from the photo's you have 366344 - that's the B post itself - now welded into the structure of the car.

That being the case, there's no reason why you shouldn't make your own. It's simply a bit of mild steel plate, thick enough to get a screw thread into. Shape it so that it is a loose fit in the hole in the pillar, then drill using the anti burst plate as a template. Tap to suit whatever screws you can lay your hands on - metric entirely suitable!

Missing it out altogether is also an acceptable solution. I'm fairly sure the anti burst pins and plates didn't appear till the S2's. Certainly they weren't there at launch!
