1970 2000 sc

My Radiator cap has self destructed, I asked the idiot behind the counter at one of the local motor factors what one I needed, and he informed me "Sorry mate well only sell car parts ere, I fink you want a plumba".
I decided to leave before my mouth got over the shock. (I should know better, last time I went to said shop I was after a part for a 1960 Chevy, and after waiting for 1/2 hour for said member of staff to look through he books and data file, when he came back to me and said "I can't find it, do you think it might be American?" this is after I have pulled up outside shop in the vehicle and blocked most of the car park with it.)
Anyway does anyone know what the correct pressure rating for a radiator cap to fit my 1970 2000 sc is?
