My German's not the best..well..non-existent really due to much schooltime shilly-shallying! But is that saying 8000 - 9000 Euros for a "good" car? :p

Well -living next to Germany and having searched for a LHD in the past (and ending up finding one in the UK a long time ago)- Consider - LHD ones are pretty rare and in Europe it seems that British cars are far more higghly regarded in Europe that they are in the UK. (eg modern Rover 75 cars here are about 3x the value of similar aged ones in the UK).

Having said that - a couple of years ago I had the opportunity to buy a perfect - and I mean perfect - v8 p6 LHD - air con - better than new condition - for €5000 - I just didnt have the cash. I would say that 8-9000 for a good one is very extreme.

8000-9000 EUR sometimes is the asking price, very few sellers have tried to get +10.000 EUR - without success.

Rover P6 was and is an under-valued car in Germany. For a "good" car (P6 V8 Series II) 6.000 to 7.000 EUR would be okay on German market.

Quick search on ebay.de didn't turn up any P6's. Clean-looking RHD P5B though at close to EUR 4000 with a few bids going on.

Very very nice, and at this price, a steal.

it is pity that we cannot import anything older than 5 years old in Greece.

£$%^%$$ politicians

my Goodness - one there with an asking price of over €17k!! And from the piccies - no air con. I would be very suprised if they got even 50% of that

There is a nice looking one with LPG for a fraction of that
