P6 estate spotted on Ebay

The SD1 wheel trims don't match the p6 wheels.

The reason I say that is because I have the early ones and the 5 wheel stud holes are ok but the air valves are out.

You would need the steel sd1 wheels to go with the trims, I think that this was naughty of Rover, You could obviously drill out a new hole and have a spare hole I suppose.

hi,
you will find that there are two types of wheels for the p6 ( air valve wise ) one has the air valve between the studs and the one that has the air valve inline with the wheel stud ( which is for the 'S' type wheel trim )

If my memory serves me right, all V8's ran the different wheels to all four cylinder cars, so they should fit straight onto your V8. They went straight onto my 75 V8 auto.
One word of warning -- to make a proper job of fitting them you will need the S wheel nuts, that protrude through the wheel trim. The problem is that the wheel nuts that are available are only flash chromed, and they are crap!! I had rusty flakes of chrome falling off mine in a matter of months

ouch, its a bitch when annoying small stuff like that somehow manages to make the whole car not look as nice, okay cheers ill have to keep my eyes peeled for a set of S wheel bolts!

I have standard 4cyl wheels on my 1977 2200tc.

I also have the 's' wheel trims on them and the fitted no problems.

thats a good question i have a set of denovo Trims currently hanging on my wall in my room which i want to fit to my Rover (when i get it)

But do you have the denovo wheel nuts to go with them?

My car was originally supplied with Denovo wheels, and still has the wheel nuts that went with them.

They are similar in length to the 3500s nut. but have a washer about three quarters of the way down, which I assume retained the trim in place.

Whether the trims will fit a standard wheel I dont know,
remember the Denovo was a Metric size tyre and would probably be slightly larger or smaller than 14".

and the seller stated 'N*** ***' whatever that is.
There are a few doors and seats against that wall too, not, it looks like, from the estate. At least you now know 'OGP 65P' was broken :)
