Hello everyone, thought you's might like to see this? This was a lounge chair I've been making for my degree in furniture design. I had to get it to the upholsterers quickly and didn't have time to sort out a van  . Luckily it 'fitted' quite nicely into the P6's boot
The chair (now finished) was inspired by 'classic' automotive upholstery and was named 'Bache' after the designer of our beloved P6 :D

I wondered if we should expand this topic to a compendium of Most Unusual Things Transported in a P6?

My first offer celebrates the release of the Saville Inquiry report today.

In 1972 my Father worked at Royal Aircraft Establishment in Farnborough. Our new Monza Red 2000TC was frequently pressed into service to transport various experimental explosives between an ROF in South Wales and the RAE. Mother DID NOT LIKE THIS! But she only found out when the MoD decided to tighten security in the light of events in Northern Ireland. To my Father's horror an edict was issued that henceforth all such materials were not to be transported in private cars. Instead the task was given to the RAE's van driver - an Irishman of Republican leanings!
