NADA fan...

Am I right in thinking NADA spec' P6's has a radiator fan with more blades than the UK spec' car...? If so are they easy to source, I may get one to aid the cooling of my motor... Any help/advice would be appreciated.

NADA spec cars (at least the air con'd ones) had a viscous fan with plastic blades and a different water pump. I suspect they have been obsolete for quite some time but you may be able to use an SD1 pump and fan? (or does this put the pulleys in the wrong place?)
Basically, it's not that simple! You are probably better off going down the Kenlowe route.

The NADA spec water pump and fan is exactly the same as those that were fitted to cars sold for the Australian market. My 1974 Rover as it was originally built had a 13 bladed nylon fan and viscous coupling as standard fitment. This applied to cars equally so cars without air conditioning like mine and those with both were fitted with the same fan and coupling. The water pumps are indeed different, same footprint but with a shorter nose. The pulley is also different.

The NADA spec was fitted to all cars that were sent to hot climates, not just North America, so it is my understanding.

Ron.
