Koni Classic shockers to order

Hi all,

I've been in touch with a Swedish Koni service centre and classic/custom suspension specialist who can rebuild Koni Classic shock absorbers and manufacture new ones to Koni spec. for the P6 to order. I thought this might be of some interest to forum members, but as I assume similar services can be found in the UK I'll leave it up to anyone to signal interest before posting details.

Incidentally, they have two pairs of rear NOS Koni Classics in stock (and odd pairs of front Girling ones for the P4 and P5 (6 cyl) range).

Don't know if it's exactly the same in the car world but in the motorcycle world Koni have shut up shop but another company has appeared using a very similar logo called Ikon (It's in the name), got a set for my classic BMW and they are the same in all ways, anybody heard anything about this name change in the car world?

Reappearance of a Koni facility is much to be appreciated. Before anyone uses them don't forget that Gaz shocks at £360 per set of four are available now. These are somewhat superior to the Koni's in that you don't have to remove the shocks to adjust the setting as they have an external adjuster. Quality would be similar or better.
