Kenlowe fan

I have all of the electrics and thermostat set up for a kenlowe fan, but the fan has been previously removed.

The belt driven manufacturers fan doesn't appear up to the job when in slow or static traffic with resultant hot running temperatures.

Does anyone know what model of fan I should be looking for, ideally in front of the radiator.

Thanks.

Any fairly slim fan from a scrap car that will fit should do you, the larger the diameter the better. Though I think the consensus is that a pulling fan behind the radiator is more efficient than a pusher in front.
This is mine, found dumped near my garage. It works a treat alongside the 3-row radiator & header tank which you can just see fitted on the front of the engine:

I had a fan at the front of the rad, did'nt like it, could see it throw the grill. Got a big one now behind the rad. Works better too. Can't find the original listing for it but got it off eBay for around £40. Get a slimline one, may have to move the rad forward with a little 'tugging' at the top. I'll take a pick of mine at the weekend for you.
