Hi all,

I’ve just been perusing the forum, and thought I’d jump in!

I’ve just purchased a great condition very low mileage 1974 P6 auto at auction, to compliment my P5B saloon and a few other 60’s classics (Jensens)

What a cracking driving car the P6 is? The journey home was suberb, a few problems have arisen already however and I've posted these elsewhere.

Pics below 2hrs after buying it...

Welcome aboard obsession Rover P6(B) Hmm a P5B as well, got any pics of that fine beast as well?
You will find this an informative and friendly forum, here is a usefull resource for you to peruse http://www.p6roc.co.uk/p6index.asp

Best of luck and dont forget decorum, grinning like a fool when driving your P6B is unavoidable. :p

Thanks Graeme,

I've only driven the P6 home, it was a complete impulse buy so I wasn't quite in "car buying mode" :D

Pic of the P5B – about 2 months ago, just finished resto (except they're never really finsihed are they?!!)

Nice!! am on the look out for a p5b but the recession has severly erroded my car fund money, had to pass up on a nice 1973 very low milage example last month :( only about 120,000 KM's on the clock.

Welcome Steve

You have a couple of very nice Rovers there. Was the P6 the one advertised for auction on car & classic website recently?

Looks like a good one and if you only had a few teething issues on the drive home you've done well.

cheers

Dave

Hi Steve...welcome aboard!

Fine pair of stablemates you have there! Now if I had room (and the funds) for a P5B.....

Cheers,
