Hi John,

Good to "See" you here on the forum.

As with anything that appears difficult, share your problem with us and some surprising answers often follow from those that have 'done it before' a million times!

How about posting up some pictures of your hard work.

Brian.

hi bri yes i will when i can figer out how to post pics . i never want to do inbord braks again i put the handbrake back the wrong way round and id stoped working great fun when on a hill with cars behind you. anyway in the end i payed to have it done porperly at my cost i must say i should have let them do the job in the first place it only needed brake pads. nice chatting john

ah!
hello John!
i see you live in cornwall then!
ignore my other message i posted.
i'm julian and i should have a prop if you like.
i'm having a 5 speed conversion done as we speak but its a pain getting the right bits!
i'm still bits short as i got some from a guy in norfolk who cashed my cheque and dissapeared and no bits appeared!
i have 2 other 5 speed conversions on other cars
one i've never driven and the other a mate did and its not the best,
i need to fashion a gearbox bracket i think as the prop hits the tunnel on sharp right corners! oops!
and you'll need your speedo recalibrated !
lots of pitfalls and i fell into all of them!
still,
i'll have a priop hunt!
best of luck with the conversion

thanks i would be greatfull if you could help with prop people hear seem very helpfull its good we like to keep thease old cars on the road john
