Headrest reading lamp wire

Does anyone know where I can get some wire for headrest reading lamps. The original has a short section of coiled wire at the top and base of the seat and I cannot find anything similar!

Hi, try winding ordinary wire (twin or single) round a screwdriver or small round rod
tightly and then withdraw and you are then left with coiled wire. Simples! Colin.

Tch tch, can't have been too many NADA's with that fitment! I had exactly the same problem when I sought to fit these to my Thai car. I didn't resolve it and Lucky will, at some point, get my own version of the system using P5 type above door interior lamps instead of the open type fitted by Rover. I found some really neat little rocker switches as well that are small enough to fit next to them. I shall use a fixed wire rather than the plug in one, as the headrests, once adjusted to your liking, are then effectively fixed.

Lucky will eventually get my own version of the Rover system, using P5 above door type interior lamps rather than the open lamps Rover used - which I don't like. I shall use fixed wiring on the grounds that I find no need to adjust the headrests once I get them where I am comfortable with them. I also have some really neat little three way rocker switches, that are small enough to fit under the headrests, to control XJ6 SIII reading spotlights on the 1/4 panels.
