Front & rear mudflaps - Correct fitting

Hi all

I am in the process of fitting my front and rear mudflaps and would like advice on the correct fitting as I didn't receive any instructions with them. It looks fairly straightforward but just wanted to check if there was a right way and a wrong way.

Have you got brand new flaps ? Would you care to make templates so others could make their own out of suitable material ?

There are some front ones on ebay at the moment and a chap called colin gould has some rear ones (or did have)
