Just thought I'd let you guys know, I've tracked down an excellent bodyshop in the Berks/Bucks/West London area.
My P6 needed the rear quarters and roof doing (it had gone very flat) and a front wing (dropping a fuel pump on it does it no good). Also, it was a bit two-tone, the lower panels in Ford Burgundy and the rest in Rover Brigade (I prefer the burgundy) I'd done all the prep, just needed a man with a airbrush and some celluose.
After a dozen calls, my friendly MGR bodyshop recommended me someone so I called them.
Took it in Thursday morning, car was ready Friday pm. They'd got the paint, matched it to the right shade, and the chap had 20 years experience with celluose. Bob's your mother's brother - job done.
Absolutely A1 finish, like glass, very smooth, shiny, not one flat spot.
They are G P Auto Craft in Denham, Bucks near the old Service Station. Very friendly service, they even washed it down and Auto Glym'd it too. Even commended me on the quality of my underseal too, nothing wrong with that then!
They had a couple of MGB GTs in for a full resto too, one right down to nuts and bolts and they do mechanicals too.
Brilliant job and very reasonable, £400 all in. Gave me the left over can for touch-ins and also the name of the supplier for any aerosol orders too.
