The article in the current magazine gives the impression the Club are endorsing this un-tested product . The article should have been headed "advertisement " Is there any proof this thing works ? Is anyone going to try it ?

I suspect it is about as much use as those "drop in the tank " metal particles

I think that this has come up here before, and my reply then was that if it adds a specific amount of additive as the fuel passes through it, then it can't work properly on any vehicle that has a recirculating system as fitted on the P6B, because the concentration will get greater and greater each time the fuel circulates through the system. Otherwise on a normal system with no return, if it can add the additive in the correct amounts, it will only ever be as good as the additive you use.

Having seen this I tend to agree with Dave....

What PROBABLY happened is that Debs got a flyer from the company
and reproduced it in full to fill a page or two.

Looking at the product I tend to agree with Harvey, it simply does what the name suggests, adds the additive to the fuel as it passes through, in itself it is not a lead replacement device, it is simply designed to prevent you from having to pre-mix the fuel and additive when refueling etc. It will be pretty obvious if it is working as the additive level in the reservoir will decrease as it does it's job.

Of course as Harvey states, on a recirculating system you will get an increasing concentration as un-used additive+fuel mix is returned to the main tank, maybe this should be stated in their advertisement.

Agreed you can see the level in the bottle go down but are you going to be able to control the rate with the number of tankfuls the additive should treat ?
And is it worth the money - I think not, just to save tipping in a few capfuls of additive when you fill the tank
A similar principle must be the Miracle Gro fertiliser diluter/spray and that doesn't cost more than £10
