door/body seal tool

Fitted a new body seal for the front door at the weekend there using a variation of the special tool shown in the workshop manual. Took a bout 20 minutes in total, not bad.

If you have the same job to do either head to the nearest supermarket or you kitchen and grab a pizza slicer, you know the round disc thingy! :D
 
Very good idea, while your in the kitchen utensil section pick up an old fashioned tin opener. Very good tool for removing roof trim. (Wrap masking tape round to stop marking)

PS For some strange reason I have a corn on the cob holder in amongst my tools. I must have used it for some job on a car a few years ago.
 
LOL - done the same thing today but i used the wife's wooden spatchular (don't tell her though !!) - it worked a treat and does not mark the paint at all.
