Dash top removal - Where are the fixing points?

Hello there!

Can anyone help? I am trying to wire up the rev counter (fitted inside seperate pod on dash) in my 1975 2200SC and I am having a spot of bother.

To gain easy access to the back of the strip speedo, where the connections I need are located, I am trying to remove the top part of the dash that goes across the top of the speedo and pod and ends at the bottom of the a-posts. After consulting numerous manuals, I found that it was held in place by one nut just off centre to the left and "two self tapping screws". The nut was easy but I could not find the two screws, even after romoval of the A-post covers.

Help!

HI,
THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE THE DASH BOARD TOP OFF, ON YOUR STRIP SPEEDO WHERE THE PLASTIC FASCIA IS FOR YOUR INDICATOR LIGHTS, MAIN BEAM, IGN, OIL LIGHT ETC, IT PULLS OFF AND THERE ARE TWO POSIDRIVE SCREWS HOLDING YOUR STRIP SPEEDO. BY TAKING THOSE TWO SCREWS OUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PULL THE STRIP SPEEDO FORWARD TO GET TO THE WIRES YOU NEED. IF YOU HAVE THE PROPER BRACKET FOR THE REV COUNTER AND POD THAT WILL FASTEN ON THE TWO STUDS WHERE YOUR CLOCK ORIGINALLY WAS. HOPE THAT HELPS.
