THIS CAR IS NOW FOR SALE AGAIN well what can i say finding the car heavy to drive it's not a problem to other members of my family however as i suffer from osteoporosis (brittle bone disease) it has me a little worried . i have now decided to SELL, i have re advertised the car to try and get a v8 with power steering in exchange or my purchase price back in the short time of owning the car i have fitted electronic ignition amd cured a slight oil leak. Tel 07811144452 the car is still in co durham Andy

What a shame, as i think you'll have to go a long way to find such a nice car. As I (and others) said earlier, there are well proven PAS conversions for the 4 cyl cars using OE Rover parts.

I have had 2 enquiries about the car and they were both scams so if anyone fancies a nice car please contact me on 07811144452

Didn't rover classic do PAS conversions for 4cyl at a reasonable price?

Colin

They do Colin, engineered by Tony Ryalls, it's a very neat system and looks factory fitted too. Their number is 01777 816600.

It would be a shame to miss out on enjoying such a nice car now you have it.

How about looking at changing the tyres? That can often give you lighter steering.. What's on there at the moment?
