Brake retractor on Ebay

That must go down as number one on my list of "most useless and overpriced tools ever" Never had one, don't want one, and I could never bring myself to actually take money off someone even if I found one somewhere..................

But that's just my opinion.........................

fair enough, I got mine for a fiver a few years ago off ebay. I could see it would be tougher doing the job with out one but not impossible. I think that I got one at a fair price, but close to $62 US seems a bit steep. Folks seem to be bidding on it though.

Luckily for you, you bought yours for a fiver (still far too much in my view) but fair play to you if you can actually use the thing and get a decent handbrake afterwards. Me, I'll stick to dropping the discs out. :)

Agreed, when I had my first P6 18 years ago I did the rear pads, did not even know there was a tool at the time. This time round again did not feel the need. I think that if its so tight still you can't move it with your finger or a screw driver then it possibly needs stripping anyway.
