Bell Housing bolts

Finally got around to mating the engine to the ZF gearbox today only to find that the 2 longer bolts that fit near the starter motor on the BW 65 box are too long for the ZF and I need two shorter bolts

So if anyone has a couple of V8 bell housing bolts they can post me that would be good, I'll cover costs and postage obviously

Cant you grind them down a bit??
If not tell me the size you need and I will have a rummage in my 5 or 6 buckets of various nuts and bolts accumilated over the last 35 yrs!
Thought everyone into classics had a nut and bolt bucket! or 6! :wink: ?

Cheers Pilkie, your question sent me to the parts manual and it turns out that these bolts 3/8 UNC 2" are the same as the the 3 longer valley bolts and as I'm replacing those with stainless steel I do have some spares after all !

I have lots of jars and tins full of nuts, bolts, washers etc. although these tend to be older whitworth stuff, I never throw anything away so will eventually build up a stock of these newer threads, may even get around to metric.
