Hello Bri, are you from the Tyne and Wear area? I'm just guessing by the way you said 'alreet' that you might be? I live in Newcastle myself but I'm from Gateshead. I own a very early 73 3500 with an SD1 5 speed 'box fitted, so it's almost an 'S' . It's nowhere near show condition 'tho, but good fun nonetheless! :D . Anyway, welcome to the forum. Regards, Will.

hi there,i am from durham,i once seen a red v8 at dunston on a steep drive is that yours,it has a sunroof aswell?Bri

Aye, that's mine. It used to be my Dads, but I've got it now :D . Considering it sat on the drive for over 4 years unused and uncovered, it went through its last 2 m.o.t's no probs!

I forgot to add, it used to have a sunroof but it got very leaky so it's got a solid roof on at the minute. I have got plans to put the sunroof back on tho.

No, I've never taken it to any shows. It's not in good enough condition to show, although I really shouldn't let that stop me. I might try and make a show or two over the summer as I've yet to take it for a really good drive. By the way, there's a meeting at the Metrocentre once a month for classics and hot rods. I took the P6 down last month but it's mostly yankie motors and Kustom/Hot Rod stuff there. Not enough British Classic on show! It's still canny 'tho :D

Welcome Brian
you must be the one Barry Gill's told me about. I live just up the street in Bedlington & I've known Andy & Barry for years smashing people.
I usually go to that Metro Centre do aswell but I've been too busy this last couple of times you should try it it's 2nd wednesday every month.

Regards Col
