800 Seats in a P6

Okay this may sound stupid but here we go.

How do you fit the seats from an 800 into the P6?

Im starting to wonder whether i may be able to do the same, but with seats from a 25 - would that be possible do you think?
The reason i ask, is that i cant see the P6 seats i have being more comfortable than the ones i have in my 25, i am going to be replacing the seats in my 25 with a set of leather seats rendering the present seats homeless so i reckon that may be worth a crack.

On the fronts i guess it's going to be a case of making adapter plates if they dont fit exactly....

The rears are more troublesome as rears on both cars are shaped to the bodywork. I think you'd end up cutting the metalwork on the seat bases and welding it back on with P6 metalwork... And the seat backs similarly i guess....

That is conjecture on the rears but the only way i can see to do it. I guess the thing to do is measure both sets of seats - if they're close it's got to be worthwhile...

Rich.

I just reckon it'd wind up being a lot more comfortable.

On the other hand it takes away some of the more traditional point of the car, and also being cloth seats not really something i'd wanna try - unless i got two sets in leather....hmmmm

I guess you could practice on the cloth seats, try them for size etc, and if they work 200/25 leather seats arent too difficult to come by?
