Further details:
73850 miles, fresh MOT until September 2017, four new tyres last couple of months. New Huco fuel pump recently (6 months or so). New electronic ignition/distributor last year.
The story: Bought this locally a little less than a year ago as a rolling project - after some teething troubles with ignition and running that we duely sorted, it hasn't let me down. I've been using it two or three times most weeks for the last five, six months or so. Absolutely love the car but unfortunately I'm moving away from the house I'm in now with a driveway, room for tools etc, to a flat with no garage, parking or tool space and need a modern daily for work etc.
The car runs reliably and is roadworthy but is really a project and I won't be in a situation to treat and maintain it as it needs and deserves.
Generally speaking the car is solid and reliable and is worth the asking price all day in my opinion! I would ask more but I need a fairly prompt sale so have priced it keenly with an eye to a quick sale to an enthusiast.
Bad points:
Exhaust system - now repaired.
Some rust bubbling at bottoms of all doors and inside engine bay - nothing too bad.
2 x front tie bar rubbers just been replaced as were split.
Temp gauge recently stopped working - am about to order another sender.
Needs a tune - runs reliably and never lets me down, but could be better with a bit of knowledge
Throttle linkage very sloppy - often sticks at lowish revs but is easy to blip it unstuck - due to knackered bushings in linkage.
Sunroof doesn't work and is screwed shut - never been brave enough to take it apart and try to fix it!
Rear seats split open along the top as soon as they saw the sun - I suspect the car had been garaged for a long time and the previous owner was moving it on due to the running issues it had.
Previous owner told me he'd been using the car every day for a year - I suspect he'd actually just taken it from garaged/stored as it wasn't running like he said - it does run reliably now and has never broken down on me since I rectified the issues (fuelling/ignition).
Please bear in mind that I've tried to be brutally honest as all classic cars look better in pictures online in my opinion and I don't want any disappointed viewers! It's a solid car and an EXCELLENT basis for a rolling restoration while being usable and drivable immediately, and I've been using it as my primary car with no real issues - but it's not perfect hence the price.
Looks great, sounds great, gets loads of attention and I'm going to miss it but it needs to go unfortunately.
I've included a huge load of pictures and tried to show everything as well as I can.

Cheers for looking :)
