    BW 35 - upchange "thump"

    I have a 2200SC auto - generally it is quite smooth but when keeping up with stop/start traffic there is sometimes a thump on lifting-off after accelerating e.g. when trying to move into a space/joining a roundabout etc. What causes this?

    Failed speedo - Replacing speedo cable

    Bought a 2200SC auto last year and joined the club. Not very skilled but manage to service it, replace the radiator etc but how do I replace the speedo cable? - its not covered in Haynes.
