    changing series 1 rear hub

    I am changing the rear hub(advisory on last MOT)on my 1968 2000tc for a used one with no "play" in it. Do I have to take the unit off from the brake disc(to knock the splined shaft out) or does it just slide off the spline once all the fixings are off?

    Paint

    I have a white 68 S1 2000 Tc that I use as an everyday car. I cannot see a paint code or anything similar under the bonnet. Does anyone either have a paint code or failing that the name Rover used. Hope someone can help.

    Spring assisters

    Having read all the useful info on the rear springs would any of the members have a set of spring assisters they no longer require. I have a 1968 2000TC with a towbar and occassionally use it to pull a trailer as this is my everyday car. Willing to pay a fair price for them.
