My heater has packed up. I use my 3500S year-round and I'm interested in fitting the optional air-conditioning/heater system, for which I believe parts are available - Ian Wilson?

34 years without slumbering - tick tock, but now the only non-British part of my P6 has stopped working. Can anyone give me any tips on what could be wrong with my dashboard clock or recommend a specialist to fix it?
Don't think it will. The manual and auto versions had different header pipe arrangements. The manual headers are longer and join together further back. I think that the manual pipes will not clear the autobox on your car. From the mid-box backwards should be the same though.
This is a while after you original post but - give Ian Wilson a call ('ianp6man') - he has just converted my 3500S to PAS and I can recommend the conversion and Ian's workmanship.

I use Dunlop SP200s @ 195/70HR14 on my 3500S. They give excellent grip and cost about £65. The 70 profile reduces the rolling radius although this is partially compensated by the 195 width. The overall effect is to lower the gearing by 3.5%, which is just noticeable. You can calculate the...
