Carpet Mushrooms - where did the water come from ?

You sure ALL the holes in the lower bulkhead have grommets in them? Alternatively this could be coming from the door seal and flowing down the door and then in. Borrow the talcum powder, take out the carpet, dust the floor & inner sill and then spray the door seal area with a watering can -...

Now then... PLEASE do not cut the doors!!! I used a couple of large 'Pod' type speakers containing bass and tweeters wedged under the front seats and facing rearwards. The sound was acceptable and I was pushing around 80 watts through them. I have also seen speakers mounted under the...

Faulty Speedo, Clock, Tacho & Horn.

The clock is a dodgy one. You could try tapping it, there is an electric self winder that sometimes sticks. Regarding the speedo - if it is series 2 round they are notoriously inaccurate - however you may have a four pot speedo in an eight pot or vice versa. The screw it gauge (rev counter)...

Wipers - Can you change later for early type - Guess who broke his toy....

OK then.... I have checked the workshop manual and all is NOT clear! My latest 1965 car has decided to shed its wipers - we get a lot of rain in Wales. They slowed down and then decided they have had enough. No problems thinks me rip the system off a spare car and fit that. The 1965 car...

    HUNTSMAN WEBASTO on eBay!!!!!

I suppose you can see the seller's point. IF (s)he cuts off the whole roof at the door pillars then whoever gets the roof can take it apart at their leisure and is TOTALLY sure of getting everything to do with the Webasto and not leaving bits behind. Mind you if you went to collect it you...
