Hi, I'm after a brown leather rear seat back, as per the phot. Driver's side or will take a pair, don't need the bases. Not too worried about the condition of the sides/ vinyl, but leather must be good with no tears or splits. Thank you

    plumbing in electric fuel pumps

I have already fitted an electric pump in the boot of our 3500, but as I have to tidy the fuel lines for the MOT, I was wondering if I can blank off the reserve line and just run a main feed from the filtered outlet on the sender, and run the return to this outlet? At the moment I have both...

engine cuts out under hard load

thanks for the replies, I'll check the thermostat. Well the car made it to its MOT, failed on handbrake, fuel lines not secure enough and a twisted flexi hose, so, while I was re-routing the fuel lines I thought I'de take the sender out as it wasn't working and think I've found the problem. In...

engine cuts out under hard load

Thanks guys, interesting stuff, I never thought fuel starvation could be caused by coolant issues. To answer a few questions, the engine has had a new coil and condensor, the coolant hoses are all new, as is the rad and thermostat, but I didn't flush the heater. I havent checked the pipe from...

engine cuts out under hard load

Hi, recently got our P6 up and running and set up by a local mechanic who served his time on these cars. We've taken it for a quick run and everythings fine if its driven nice and gently, but if you push it, it starts to cut out on tickover and struggled a little on the slope into my garage...

    Rev counter wiring question

I'm putting the final touches to a 3500 P6. When we came to fire it up, it wouldn't fire until we took the rev counter wire off the coil, then it fired up straight away? We had the rev counter connected to the negative side of the coil, is this right? Any ideas?

    Electric Fuel Pump, fitting questions?

It's been really helpful, thanks, I'm midway through fitting it, but I've chosen to put the pump and tap in the d/side cprner of the boot. This means the tap will be accessible should I need it.

    Electric Fuel Pump, fitting questions?

Got all set to remove the old manky electric fuel pump, which is fitted in the engine bay, with a brand new Facet pump, but came unstuck almost straight away. Could someone explain, with pictures, what the recommended way of dealing with the reserve fuel line and also the return from the carbs...
