i once had this problem on a mini with the metro carb fitted [similer to p6] and as you had done everything i could think of untill a mate said check the float needle i did this and it was getting stuck in the closed possision so alouing no fuel to get through when cold it dropped and everything...

hi jim theres a 3500s wheel on ebay also a wooden one for £120

the fuse box on a viva hb is very similer to the p6 and i had the same problem with the fuel pump fuse droping :x out so i replaysed the fuse box with a modon spade fuse box didnt have anymore problems after that :D
