Just read Speedy's comment on over-riders... am I the only one who thinks the car looks better without them? ???

On the subject of thumps... I sometimes get a hefty kick in the kidneys when I put my V8 auto into gear. Someone once mention "short clutch pistons - ignore it, it's natural". Is this the case or am I in danger of spitting the gearbox into the street?
