Thanks for that fellas, the quadrants are fully off, there isn't a problem with an over tight handbrake cable it is the complete opposite. I had disconnected the handbrake linkage and moved the offside quadrant by hand from stop to stop. This action did not move the piston out which I assumed...

I've replaced all 4 discs, both front calipers, offside rear caliper and over hauled the nearside rear. I've bled the system 3 times by the usual method, and there is no more air coming out of the nipples. I've raised the car on a jack and confirmed that the front brakes work on both front...

Im overhauling the rear brakes, all went well with the offside BUT the caliper assembly on the near side has seized. It won't swivel. I tried to free up and/or remove the pivot pin, but only managed to round off the nut on the O Ring end and I am in the process of rounding off the hex socket...

Thanks again, as I'm overhauling the rear brakes at the moment I can't use the hand brake, so I'm having to rely on my home made jig which at the moment is bending under the strain, at least I know I'm turning the bolt the right way.

I'm not sure that there is enough meat on them for a regrind, there is only just 8mm at the thickest point and less than that over the corroded sections, here's a picture

Hi Harvey I wasn't expecting the bolt to be easy to undo with thread lock on it but can I just confirm that the thread will be a standard anti clockwise turn to undo it. I made a brace to hold the flange whilst trying to undo the bolt but this is just bending, maybe a pneumatic air...

I've bought the new oil seal and was about to replace it, but having now read the procedure in the manual it says that I should replace the 2 stop washer O Rings at the same time, and that the spline needs coating with Loctite sealant grade AVV. Is it important to change these O Rings, or can I...

Can anyone recommend a supplier of rear brake discs and pads other than the usual Wadhams or Winns
