This is one of the original P6 police speedos.

rover s part number for the calibrated speedo is 586545 and this fitted into a pod. the Met calibrated speedo was a lot larger and sat in a metal frame like in the U tube clip.I am after the smalle one that fits into a pod.I hope this clears things uo. Regards Bob

The way it was put together like this 371169 rubber boot 593617 is first then 591478 fits in to the rubber boot fit gear stick though placing the plastic bush into the cut out then place 591985 and bolt it up? is this correct

The plot thickens,I have replaced the new bush and pin on the gear stick much better placed everything back together but still have a floppy gear stick The only thing I can think of is that there must be a bush that fits onto the dome end of the gear stick and into the gear select rod.Is this...
