HI Colin, yes mine is a"R" 2200tc, our other contact was about a spare engine, which I now know to be a mongrel. Yes the rocker cover is grey, the air cleaner element box is shiny black. The engine block is matt black. Next time its anice sunny day I will go and photo the beast. Regards Joe.

Item 37 inrepair manual does read, fillerpipe etc, but inparts book item 37 is breather and drain pipe for petrol tank. Thats the small diameter pipe that fits on top of tank, nothing to do with fillerpipe. Hope that helps Regards Joe.
