the problem is getting the pipe to the temperature req to soften to slip over the ends and then if it has softened to much it won’t shrink enough to seal on the ends I don’t think immersing it in boiling water would do it

Hi guys looking to see if anyone has the fuel pipe from pump to float chamber also float chamber cover
my car came like the photo-need to get it sorted properly car is a 71 2000 TC
Tried wins and mgbd out of stock found copper pipe which will hopefully fit at pump and float chamber but the chamber end needs the fitting on the cover to adapt onto the pipe and if I pull it apart ant the adapter is goosed so am I and the car lol
will try in the wanted section see what comes...
So am I but it seems to be holding at the moment but won’t last forever I checked the pipe size against 8mm copper but the copper is bigger looks like it might be closer to 6mm but prob imperial tried different suplier but pipe out of stock
