Its a facet electric fuel pump and i purchased it from my local motor spares shop in elm park in essex. You can buy them off ebay from time to time for around £65.00. If you live local i can give you their number but you shouldnt have a problem finding one.Good luck Simon.

Electric fuel pumps are £59.50 from wadhams + postage. I will have a look on ebay and give winns a try as well. My mechanical one has let me down twice now so its got to go. All the best. Simon.

To far for me to, I wish i had'nt looked at the pictures now. Its such a waste, you would think the salvage yards would dismantle the main parts as they could make a tidy sum and help keep parts of this much loved car in circulation.

Can anyone help with problem i have discovered on my p6 v8 auto. The problem only happens when the car is put into reverse. The car drops into reverse ok and will move backwards, but when i try to accelerate i hear a large clonk and the engine revs up. Any advice would be much appreciated.
