What would be reasonable compression figures for each cylinder on a V8? I have several readings, all taken from a cold engine, ranging from 90 > 130 psi. Would the compression figures improve when the engine is hot? Many thanks!

I guess this subject comes up evry once in a while, but I was wondering what the latest cure would be regarding bubbles forming on the aluminium bonnet and boot? I had my bonnet etch primed only last year to remove one bubble, but now at least eight others have miraculously grown like mushrooms...

Hi Robin there is one part missing from your photo, which is the boot stay bracket. I have one which has been refrabricated from an old one and has been etched primed. All you need to do is put a finish coat of paint. Let me know if you need this part. Gary
