I have now purchased a good auto box from ebay and will be picking it up this weekend so hopefully this will be the end to my probs

The car has been sitting for about 4 years. The front brakes so well siezed i had to knock the old pads out as the wouldnt move. I will try WD40 on the front brakes and see if that works.

i am not sure yet as i have taken the front brake pads off at the moment and found that they where siezed so i guess i may have to overhaul the whole braking system

I am aiming to do 99% of the work myself like you say a challenge. I think i mshould be ok with most of it. I will need to replace the brakes before i do anything else i think. Does anone know of a supplier for back and front brakes. Once i have done the brakes i will be able to test the car...
