I have a complete steering lock unit with the switch & two (all metal ) keys. It is NOS & LHD. Your car is RHD though isn't it? I assume the actual switch is the same but couldn't swear to it.
I saw it a couple of weeks ago actually but would have try to to remember where l saw it if it's any good to you.

Thanks; I will try the “usual suspects” if there are no members with the part ( very best! )
Thanks for your interest; the switch seems to be the issue, thanksIs it the ignition switch or lock that is is required as the switch is a replaceable part
jp928: the switch itself seems to be worn and sometimes doesn't turn completely to the right to engage the starter; I'd rather have a spare on hand before I start taking the switch apart...Do you have an electrical problem or a mechanical one ?
Thanks, that’s very helpful! The switch is only held in by two small posidrive screw on the side
