Mystery rover engine

Hello,

Can anyone help me identify what type of Rover this engine belongs in. It was purchased new in 1987 and has never been used in a car.

Hi, It looks like a factory rebuilt or replacement engine for a Range Rover.

Craddocks are listing RTC2382E , which is a factory rebuilt engine, for a Range Rover . Listed Exchange at £4050 , Yours is New as it's a suffix N
