the village is missing its idiot. having taken off the front heater air intake vent cover(scuttle panel. i have a dilemma ,
the wiper studs fit through a grommet in the panel then there is a circular steel cup which seals the rubber grommet in place
.easy you may say, but... the left hand (looking from front of car)circular steel cup fits perfect . but the right hand one has a squashed side ,i.e. it is on a slant this one will only fit as a cap (upside down to the left one) if i try to fit it as a cup there is a gap between the grommet and the cup. am i right or wrong in fitting it as a cap. next time i remove anything i must take a photo for reference.
